A UCCIL delegation of 21 members and Industry Leaders, under the leadership of President Dr. Brahma Mishra is currently visiting Egypt. Yesterday, the delegation met the Indian Ambassador His Excellency Avijit Gupte along with his entire team of Commerce Consulate, International Trade and a few senior members of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
During the very cordial meeting, His Excellency, The Ambassador Sri Gupte briefed the visiting delegation from Odisha with a broad overview of India – Egypt historic relationship with a special reference to the Odisha connection. He also briefed and discussed with the Business Leaders from Odisha the recent developments in bilateral ties and opportunities for Indian business in Egypt. He engaged in a discussion with the Odisha business leaders on possibilities of bilateral business and import and export specifically with Odisha in the coming days.
The President Dr. Brahma Mishra, giving a brief of the Chamber to the hosts in the meeting mentioned that UCICL represents in as many as 35 Government forums and proactively contributes to the think tank of Policy Making. He also highlighted the fact that Odisha State has been witnessing a steady growth trajectory in industrialization which is complemented by Investor friendly ecosystem and that UCCIL continues to be a vital cog in the wheels of economic growth of Odisha.
