Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited (UCCIL) has celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day this morning in its Nayapalli Bhubaneswar office campus, marking the momentous milestone in the national history in adoption of the Constitution of India on this day in 1950.
The National Flag was unfurled by Sri Shashi Sekhar Mohanty, Additional Director UCCIL and the CEO and Managing Director of ESSAR MINMET, Odisha amidst a grand celebration in presence of the Directors and many distinguished members of the Chamber.
The programme was coordinated by Sri A.K.Sharda, the Honorary Secretary along with Sri S.K Swain, Vice President and Sri A. Khandelwal, Honorary Joint Treasurer, UCCIL Bhubaneswar. Among the senior members present were Sri Dipak Rathor, Advisor to the Board of Directors, Sri S.K.Tamotia, former President of UCIIL, Sri Sanjay Pattnaik and Manoj Prusty.
Flag hoisting was done with a good number of members and local children from the slum areas. Sweets and food packets were distributed.
