UCCIL, on 27th July 2023 evening, member Tristar Software and Solutions Pvt Ltd in association with TALLY Prime Software Solutions facilitated an awareness programme for its members to enable them to get hands-on with the latest financial software e-Invoicing. This was conducted keeping in view that E-Invoicing is going to be mandatory from 01st of August this year for those businesses who had more than 5 crores of turnover in the last financial year.
Sri A. K. Sharda, the Honorary Secretary of UCCIL in his inaugural welcome address highlighted the importance of E-Invoicing and how this solution would benefit in bringing around a uniformity and scalability in processing various invoices in the companies, basically the MSMEs. Sri Sharda, representing the business community, largely reminded the audience of Government’s continuous efforts in bringing more and more Medium and Small Enterprises into the fold of E-Invoicing by systematically reducing the threshold from 50 crores to 5 crores turnover of the companies engaging in Business-to-Business transactions.
Honorary Joint Treasurer Sri Akshay Khandelwal was also present on the dais along with the owner of Tristar Software Solutions Sri G B Gupta to promote and facilitate the awareness programme for the MSME members of UCCIL to educate how they can easily generate e-invoices from Tally Prime and other benefits of using software for compliance.
