On 17th Sept 2022, Saturday, The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd (UCCIL) in association with the Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Bhubaneswar conducted a mega Blood Donation Drive at the UCCIL Conference Hall, Nayapalli.
It was inaugurated jointly in the august hands of Sri Rajendra Dholakia, the Minister of Mining and Coordination, Government of Odisha, Sri Anant Narayan Jena, MLA Bhubaneswar Central, Sri Susanta Rout, MLA, Bhubaneswar North and Sri Sudhanshu Sekhar Patnaik, the Corporator of the ward 27 of Bhubaneswar at ten in the morning, in the presence of Sri Brahma Mishra, President, UCCIL, Sri Giridhari Lal Sharma, Treasurer, UCCIL and Sri Akshaya Khandelwal, Honourary Joint Secretary, UCCIL, Sri Prakash Betala, Member, UCCIL and senior member of the Terapanth Sabha, Bhubaneswar. A total of 64 units of blood were collected from members of the chamber and invited guests. This was not the first time. The UCCIL has been conducting such activities of social concern and CSR throughout.
