In line with the National call to commemorate 75 years of our Independence, UCCIL celebrated the 3 days function with great enthusiasm as India celebrates 75 years of Independence, this 15th August 2022 is very special for our country, our State, our Business, our Society, our Household and as Individual proud citizens of India.
On 13th August, UCCIL launched a campaign ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ to encourage people to carry the National Flag and we distributed it in the nearby slums and also distributed sweets to them.
On 14th evening, a competition among school children on Patriotic theme and drawing and Jhuti was conducted in the UCCIL Hall led by Ladies Forum of UCCIL. Mrs. Jayashree Mishra and the President of the Ladies Forum, Mrs. Swarnaprabha Samal gave away the prizes. A mesmerizing Patriotic song programme was organized after which Mr. Brahma Mishra, President of the Chamber felicitated the Singers and Dancers on behalf of UCCIL.
On 15th, Flag hoisting was done with good number of members and local children from the slum areas which was hoisted by Mr. Brahma Mishra, President, UCCIL. Sweets and food packets were distributed.
In the evening, a gala function of patriotic songs by eminent artists was organized in Hotel Swosti Premium. Huge gathering of members with family and friends was a spirited enthusiasm and a feeling of Patriotism and pledge to work hard to take our great Nation to further heights was taken. Mr. Brahma Mishra while recollecting the sacrifice of our freedom fighters spoke of country’s march towards growth in many fields. The whole crowd joined in paying respectful homage to our National leaders and State leaders through a video show organized on the occasion. A 75 round of cracker show was also organized at the end of the function. The 3 days function was conducted in the true spirit of Nationalist fervor on the clarion call given by Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
