The President of UCCIL Sri Brahma Mishra met the Counsel General of India in the USA Sri Randhir Jaiswal at his 3 East 64th Street, New York Office on the 18th of July 2022. The issues that were discussed included firstly, to attract US investors and industries to Odisha for Investing in our state along with Technology Transfer. Odisha is the largest producer of Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel in our country. Stainless Steel and Aluminium are required for manufacturing defence equipment and spares. Odisha can export the raw materials for the same. Secondly, apart from Stainless Steel and Aluminium Odisha can also export Millets, Sea-Food and Apparel products etc.  

 

President asked his excellence a time consent so as to send an invitation letter for visit of a delegation team consisting of Hon’ble Minister of Industries and of Steel, Senior Government Officers, Industrialists, Business leaders and Business Journalists to participate in a Round Table Conference we shall arrange accordingly. 

 

The President of UCCIL requested his excellence for one Round Table Conference to be organised for its member delegation that could meet the potential investors and technology transfer companies from the USA. He also invited a delegation from the USA to Odisha in return as Odisha is now a very good destination for investing in Tourism sector apart from Mining, Steel and Aluminium. We could, with our will and initiative, establish an example of cooperation and partnership in enterprise he said.
